Sessions and Fees

St Alphege Pre-School is open every weekday, during term time.

Monday to Friday:  9.10 - 12.10

The children are encouraged to make choices from our wide range of activities, with their Keyworkers helping to develop social and interaction skills.

We provide a balance of child-led and adult-led activities. Children come together in groups to join their Keyworker for ‘newsround’ and other activities.

The children love to explore their Forest School which enhances their sense of the outdoors in a secure environment. We love to grow plants and vegetables, the children enjoy cooking mud pies and rolling cable reels!

Snack time is organised in Keyworker groups with the children encouraged to get involved by buttering their own toast and pouring their own drinks.

We enjoy story-time using a range of props such as story-boards, big books, glove puppets and we usually end the morning with songs, rhymes, the parachute game and musical instruments before it's time to go home.

Fees for the 2020/2021 academic year will be £19.10 per session.

This is made up of:

  • An Attendance Fee of £11.94 per session
  • An Extra Services Fee of £7.16 per session, to include consumables such as snacks, drinks, paper towels, cooking activities, craft materials, access to our Forest School and electronic learning journal 'Famly'.

We charge a one off Administration fee of £50 when you accept your child's place, this enables us to set your child up ready to start the following September.

Fees are payable per half term.

Government funding is available for your child the term after they turn 3. You are entitled to 15 hours per week.
We prefer it if children attend a minimum of 3 sessions per week as this enables the children to receive the full benefit of the curriculum and experiences on offer.
