Parish children's team

Praise and Play is back. We meet every Friday morning in the Oliver Bird Hall 9.30am-10.30am for a mix of songs, a Bible story, a craft, toys and chat. Come along and join in the fun and enjoy a hot drink and a biscuit. No need to book just come along!

It’s Messy Church this coming Friday 17th January 4pm-6pm at St Helen’s Church, St Helen’s Road, B91 2DA (off Buryfield Road). There will be activities for families of all shapes and sizes based around the theme of the three wise men visiting Jesus - lots of crowns and stars! There will be a story and a prayer in the Chapel, and we’ll sit down to enjoy a hot tea together (Jacket potatoes with cheese and beans and homemade coleslaw) followed by yummy cakes. Let us know if you have any special dietary requirements as we are happy to make alternative arrangements. Cost: £2 per person, max £7 per family. It’s the Junction (a short family focussed worship session) this Sunday morning 19th January 9.15am in the Oliver Bird Hall. We’ll be hearing about a very special wedding when Jesus turned water into wine.

Pause and Pray meet every Monday morning in term time in room 5 of the Oliver Bird Hall immediately after school and preschool drop off time. It is a time for parents and carers to pause and enjoy pastries and good coffee together and reflect on the week ahead. Feel free to join us, no booking required!
